The information should include data from market research, information from the analysis of the competition, patent status and scope of coverage. It helps to provide a letter from your Council patent which summarizes the results of original research and all other relevant opinions about the extent and value of the coverage of patent granted to you. Also include your specifications of the product, designs, prototypes - even if they show that what the product looks like without the features. Add your estimates of costs of production in this presentation, you have collected evidence and all other materials that help to demonstrate the potential that your invention has on the market.

Most of these offices will not accept any submission an opportunity to license a patent has not yet issued for which. And many will step sign one confidentiality agreement, while many others, will require that only their own agreement signed. In some cases, companies may be willing to sign your confidentiality agreement, but rarely.
5.  Submit Smart! Work closely with your intellectual property lawyer with the submission of an idea to a potential licensee to ensure that your idea is adequately protected. Never sign an agreement of confidentiality without first having an attorney review of this decision. And never to return materials to a company without your attorney giving you the green light. It can be dangerous, unless you have adequate protection patent in place or a confidentiality agreement that your attorney considers adequate to protect your intellectual property.

Believe it or not, however, you may need to educate on how your product can fit into their existing lines of business.
7.  Don't reinvent procedures. It is important to follow the Protocol of a licensee in the submission of your idea for consideration. If you try to bend the rules, your application can be stopped dead in its tracks will always be taken into account. If the targeted a licensee has a Licensing Office, always begin to obtain a record began in the Office of licensing of the company, and to attend their confidentiality procedures.
8.  Find a Champion. Once you have the permission of the company present your idea, still trying to find a champion of the company who gets excited about your idea and the works of "pull" the idea to the company rather than you simply try "push" the idea on society.
